Blue zone Ammonite Specimen chunk mined close to the coal line. This is a separated piece from an Ammonite resulting in a multi-colored gemstone plate showing green, blue and purple. This is a quarter section of an incomplete Ammonite. Ammolite can show all the colors of the rainbow having blues and purples as the rarer colors. Tilt the specimen to see just how thin the layers of Ammolite are! This art piece has been naturally finished to display the Ammonites original beauty direct from the mine site. This specimen shows the growth lines of the Ammonite shell. This specimen shows some of the center spiral and the top outer ridge of the Ammonite shell.
