Gold Strike is a walking grizzly bear carved from a single block of Honeycomb Calcite, Utah’s official state stone. Sourced from the largest available block at an inactive Utah mine, this rare material features natural orange tones, strong translucency, and a crystalline structure that creates a subtle internal glow under light.
The largest grizzly in the Fathom Collection, it captures forward movement with direct, controlled lines. Set on natural river stones for textural contrast and landscape context. Each piece represents hundreds of hours of master craftsmanship — a one-of-a-kind work from one of the world’s most limited natural materials.
*Very Rare
