How precious the stone found upon the earth deep within the mountains and coasts. A man takes a stone into his hands. With metal chisels and tools formed from the elements of the land and from his imagination of what it could be, the carving begins.  A stone is only as it is when found, yet to break away pieces to form a frame reflective of the life around is a master skill.  Each piece is perfectly carved with fine precision to tell a story of the wonders the magnificent detail of each animal born on the earth.  Each stone type varies in hardness, vibrancy, and pattern that is unique in every piece.  Our studio represents the top stone artists of Canada whose works are displayed here at Fathom Stone Art to showcase their beautiful mastery in this field.
